Orli La Jolla

Absolutely loved this property. Very quaint and convenient to shops and dining. The outside patio was lovely and comfortable. You would never know you’re at a “hotel”. The lobby was charming and designed very well. The room was spacious and we enjoyed a nice breeze with the beautiful windows open with a great view.

This was a fantastic stay in La Jolla! The feont desk service was proficient, friendly and went out of the way to help. The concierge was available via text. Overall space was beautiful! A quiet gem in La Jolla within walking distance of shopping, eats and the beach. And lastly, 🐕 friendly!!

I loved sitting in the beautiful courtyard with tea and a book. Such a peaceful place and perfect location. Can walk up to restaurants or down toward the beach

Would have liked to stay longer lol

Upscale boutique hotel that is in a prime location approximately 3 blocks from downtown La Jolla. We stayed in the Conservatory room which was spacious, clean and has a little window seat overlooking the courtyard. There was a nice tea/water bar outside our room. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and quiet property. Rooms were super clean. Our bathroom was a little snug, otherwise, excellent property with highly responsive staff. Very helpful from the initial phone call to check-in which is almost automated. La Jolla surroundings are completely walkable with easy access to dining and shopping. We enjoyed our stay.

This was an adorable little place to stay! The only bad things are 1) parking is extra if there are no open spots up front which isn’t disclosed 2) there is a $66 dollar charge they add that isn’t included on Expedia. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. They also sent a ton of texts with notifications and also the property manager texting for updates way too often it felt like they were overwhelming.

We had a great experience staying at the Orli. Although our Bluff room was on the small side, it had everything we could possibly need (although I would have appreciated a magnifying makeup mirror). There is even a slight view of the ocean from this second level room. Our room faced the street yet we never heard any noise inside or outside of the hotel . The location is ideal, only a short walk to the Taco Stand and to the ocean to watch the sea lions. The Sferra sheets were a delight. The room felt very luxurious and quiet. The room temperature was easily controlled. The bed is soft and pillows are soft (even the firm pillows are soft) The staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking is not ideal but then La Jolla makes the rules. We did pay the $25 per day for the structure parking but then we were lucky enough to find legal parking in front of the hotel at night. The two windows are covered with blackout drapes. Sadly the reason I had to deduct one star concerns the excessive light created by the various LED blinking red lights on the ceiling. These lights were hardwired into various sensors and illuminated the side of the room to the point that we couldn't sleep. It's total perfection during the day but if you are light sensitive, be aware of issues when you turn the lights off to sleep.
