The staff was friendly. The bulding is very nice, and the location could be nice, but the fact is it's hard to reach and you are practically stucked into the hotel in the evenings wasn't that nice.

Didn't have a shower in our room (paid 300€/night), Wifi was very poor, and the location was very challenging. The shower in our room didn't work. Told the staff about it and they said they know there has been a problem before, yet they promised to fix it. On the next day, they told that it cannot be fixed because it would require a sizable pipe renovation. So apparently they keep on offering hotel rooms without shower in a skiing destination in a location where you cannot go anywhere else. They offered an option to go to their spa, which was not only quite expensive (40€ per day), but they didn't let my son go there (except in the day time when we were naturally skiing). They let us use a shower in a different building for "free". Paid 300€/night in the hotel (and had 50€/person dinners in the hotel, since we didn't really have an option) so would have expected to have a proper shower. The location is challenging. Ski-out, but ski-in didn't work even on a good day (good snow). Had the snow been even a bit sticky, would have had to walk quite a bit. Getting anywhere in the evening would require a snow mobile ride (min 30€ one-way), so practically the guests are stucked in the hotel.

Staff were very good and helpful. Exceptional location on the mountain but this does create some logistic challenges!

The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable - perfect for relaxing after the slopes. View from the room is breathtaking! Miss it already. The spa zone is top! I booked a relaxing massage, and it was amazing - just what I needed to unwind and recharge. The breakfast offers a great variety of sweet and savory options; dinner menu is also great and all the dishes I tried were delicious. Truly exceptional stay in every way, I can’t wait to be back!

Superb location

The skicat transfer is great in principle but the fact you are limited to times when the lifts are shut can be very inconvenient if you arrive after 8.30am or what to leave before 5.30pm. No other way of getting there.

Amazing location on the ski slope above La Thuile. Spotlessly clean, great staff.

The dinner menu, which changed every evening, was quite limited, especially for the vegetarian in our group.
