Our room was absolutely gorgeous - with really good views of the town centre. Our room had a huge walk in shower which was fabulous and we found our stay very comfortable.

"Wonderful Royal Hotel Stranraer"

Lovely room with super comfy beds. Shug and all the staff were amazingly friendly and accommodating. Dinner in the restaurant was amazing. High end dining at a very reasonable price.

Lack of nearby parking. Lots of stairs but staff helped with luggage.

"An absolute gem for those on a budget!"

An absolute gem of a budget stay! The hotel didn't even advertise the free services of their tour guide, Lee Rutherford. I don't know how much you pay him, Royal, but he's worth every penny. Glad that you enjoyed the beer I gave you, Lee. 🤗 Andy S&P Brewery
