La Casa de Santiago Hotel

We had a spectacular experience at La casa de Santiago. The views of the mountains are breathtaking, and the balanced breakfast —featuring delicious local cheese and local bread— was exactly what we needed to start our hiking days. I specially liked the hospitality and local knowledge sharing. The personal treated us super well and were very helpful giving information about the region and providing us delicius sandwich packed for our hiking. The place is very quite, we slept very well and the location is perfect for starting and ending the hikings.

Très propre et bien équipé, l’établissement propose un petit déjeuner très bon et copieux. La vue depuis le jardin est magnifique et le personnel très agréable. Il est aussi possible de laisser son sac la veille de votre nuitée afin de pouvoir partir avec un sac allégé pour le trek du colca

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à la Casa de Santiago. D’abord, la vue est exceptionnelle et le trek vers Sangalle est tout juste à côté. Puis, le personnel a été très accueillant et nous avons très bien mangé. Bref, un coup de cœur pour notre famille!

Le confort. L’authenticité. Les repas. La situation

Nous avons pu laisser nos grands sacs pendant 2 jours, le temps de faire la rando dans le canyon. Et au retour nous avons pu prendre une douche, ce que nous avons vraiment apprécié ! La literie était bonne également ! Un endroit agréable !

Simpel aber geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer mit einem tollen Außenbereich, den wir gerne mehr genutzt hätten. Betten waren Bequem, Druck in der Dusche hat sehr gut gepasst und beim Frühstück gabs frisches Gemüse und frisch zubereitete Eier.

The hotel had a great view, the beds were comfortable (not too soft, not too firm). The location was good, and there is secure parking available for free (you just have to ask for it). The breakfast was your choice of eggs with some fruit, toast and tea/coffee - simple but decent. We loved playing with Ruben the ginger kitten and all of the dogs in the neighbourhood were very friendly. There is a pretty garden with seating, but it gets chilly at night so we didn't really use it.

We were not told that we needed to make a reservation for dinner. On the first night we were able to eat at the restaurant in the hotel, but the 2nd night we were told "oh, you didn't tell us you wanted to eat here, so the kitchen is not open". We were the only guests in the hotel and they didn't think to ask. The wifi just about works, but only really in the lobby/restaurant. In the rooms it barely connected and there is no cell service. There was a 15% surcharge to pay by credit card. I didn't feel that it was good value for money.

De ontzettend behulpzame eigenaar van het hotel. Hij hielp ons meteen met de juiste route in de colca canyon en ook met het bellen van de accommodaties. Het ontbijt was heel uitgebreid en de kamer super schoon, ruim en fijn! We mochten ook onze spullen achterlaten.

Accueil désastreux.Jeune fille impolie sans bonjour aucun. Restaurant fermé. Petit déjeuner inconsistant Réverbère halogène devant la fenêtre de la chambre impossibilité de fermer l'oeil. Pas de savon dans la chambre, ni verres.
