Marina 4Rooms

I missed my flight as I arrived at Praia late due to the delay of the international flight. This caused me to miss the local flight Best fly to Soa Vincente. Sadly I was not reached by the hotel for any rearrangement or consideration.

The room was clean and everything works, including the AC and hot water. Staff was at hand to handle problem, i.e.,broken AC. It was also a good location being near the pier where I conducted field research.

The breakfast was so-so. I wish they'd serve more than eggs. The bread needs to be toasted.

Nice room, building is located a block away from Mango Bar. Staff is helpful; I arrived a day earlier & the staff on site hasn’t received the new reservation that I made, so I showed her my other reservation & se immediately worked on preparing my room.

WiFi was spotty, but it seemed like a Palawan-wide problem, so can’t really blame the hotel for that. Minor complaint: Shower was a bit cramped, but worked very well.

Loud air-condition, you can not set up a correct level of working. Either it works 100% either 0%. Small bathroom.

Kind concierge who organized everything for us, nice rooms and best located. Restaurants, public market, boat tours .. all nearby. San Vicente is a great place.

I have to mention the aircon, which is a regular model but however, quite noisy to sleep with (had the same in Manila, Coron …)

Ants invaded when woke up. Music booming against wall from 7 to midnight. No division between shower and rest of bathroom.
