The staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel had a lovely homely atmosphere and the food was delicious. Heating and hot water very efficient. Ample parking, easy walking distance to town, once we discovered the more pleasant walk through the park

The lighting in the bedroom was rather dim, could do with either stronger bulbs or more lamps.

Fantastic location, very relaxing and quiet at night. Food was exceptional both for breakfast and at night. Would stay there again, and they're dog friendly.
