Jiwar Al Madina Hotel

We had a truly wonderful stay at Jiwar Al Madina Hotel for 6 days during the blessed month of Ramadan. The hotel’s location is simply outstanding, just a 5 minute walk to the Haram, near Gate 305. This made it incredibly convenient for us, especially during Ramadan when frequent visits to the Masjid are part of the daily routine. Being so close allowed us to attend prayers comfortably without worrying about long walks or transportation. From the moment we arrived, everything was handled professionally and smoothly. We had requested a late check-in in advance since our flight landed at Madina Airport late at night, and the hotel accommodated our request without any issues. The check-in process was quick and stress-free. The two receptionists who were on the night shift (I unfortunately didn’t catch their names) were always polite, welcoming, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Every time we needed assistance, they responded with patience and professionalism, which made us feel valued as guests. We had two separate bookings — my husband and I stayed on the 8th floor, while my parents stayed on the 9th floor. Both rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and pleasant, which added to the spiritual experience of staying in Madina during Ramadan. The rooms were well-equipped with all necessary facilities, and everything was maintained in excellent condition. I would especially like to highlight the housekeeping staff, who played a major role in making our experience exceptional On the 8th floor, Ibrahim and Shahid were responsible for our room, and they both did an outstanding job. They were incredibly attentive, respectful, and hardworking. Every day, they ensured our room was spotless, organized, and refreshed to a high standard.

One aspect that could be improved was the hotel’s payment system, which we found slightly confusing. Payments were processed using the local currency, and the overall procedure was not very clear to us at first. This created some uncertainty when settling the bills, especially for international guests who may be using different currencies or cards. While the staff were helpful when we asked for clarification, it would be beneficial if the hotel provided clearer explanations regarding payment methods, currency conversion, and billing details during check-in to avoid any confusion. A more transparent and straightforward payment process would make the overall guest experience even smoother.

Very neat and clean . Humble staff and co operative . Hamza and Mohammad Abdullah specially were excellent, thoroughly professional and co operative . Restaurant, for tea and coffee and other shops very near . Distance to Haram very near . For Men it's very near and comfortable to reach at Salah place in haram but female area was too far .
