I arrived in Casablanca after booking and paying for a month at a nearby hotel, but it turned out to be a scam. Even though I had confirmed a late arrival, they refused to check me in due to “overbooking.” After an hour of stress and confusion, I booked this hotel instead. At the reception, I was welcomed by Rashid. I was so overwhelmed that I couldn’t hold back my tears. He stayed calm, kind, and genuinely supportive, listened to my situation, and reassured me. He even mentioned that issues with that nearby hotel happen quite often. I’m truly grateful for the kindness and humanity I received here — something I really needed in a new city, alone in that moment.
