The Hosteller Narkanda is a family-friendly property; the primary guest must be at least 18 years old, and children are allowed only in private rooms, not in dorms. We follow a lean, self-service and no-frills hospitality model to keep stays affordable, with select amenities available on a pay-as-you-use basis. Alcohol, drugs, misconduct, non-payment, theft, vandalism or policy violations will lead to immediate eviction without refund and possible permanent blacklisting. Outside food is strictly prohibited inside the hostel premises. Our cafe serves vegetarian food with self-service culture and operates 8 AM–2 PM and 6 PM–11 PM (timings may vary) Smoking is allowed only in designated smoking zones within the premises. For group bookings of 2+ guests, same-dorm accommodation is not guaranteed as room allocation is automated and subject to availability. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability. Visitors are allowed only in common areas between 9 AM and 9 PM and are not permitted inside rooms. Female dorms are strictly for female guests only. Local IDs are accepted. Limited parking is available on-site subject to availability (up to 3 cars). Silent hours are observed daily from 10 PM to 8 AM. The Hosteller Narkanda is a family-friendly property. Please note - kids are allowed only in private rooms but not in dorm rooms. The property is pet friendly, and we allow pets only in private rooms (not dorms). Any damages are attributable to the pet owners.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. The Hotel is well kept. Check-in was smooth. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Full marks to support. Parking was an issue but perhaps that is how it will be in such hill stations. Not much could be done about it. This is a hostel type of accommodation Icing on the cake regarding the location is that it is very close to the main market and good restaurants. The rooms were excellent. Must above what we expected. The follow up from Hosteller staff before we arrived was also great. highly recommended.

Parking and the approach to the place is very tight, narrow and unfriendly to vehicles. But not a critical issue.

"It’s been a year that the hostel has opened up, for a year old hostel it’s kinda nice, but long way to go and improve. K"

The property is at a very good location, the rooms are spacious, balcony area is nice, water dispenser is at each floor, staff is friendly, cafe is okay.

The property wasn’t clean, room was dusty and the washroom had no wiper. The common area was also not very clean, it was dirty in the morning from the last nights’ party or event. There could have been a lift, the dining area of the cafe could have been separate from the common space as it’s small.

Everything was amazing, the hospitality, the comfort, the seamless checkin, food ordering, and activitiy-opt-in via Glu app, the looks of the property and rooms, the view of mountains, close proximity to bus stand.
