The hotel is beautiful and in a very beautiful location. The beds were comfortable, and we really appreciated the good‑quality products at breakfast. Having a V60 in the room was also very nice.

The main disappointment for us was the surprise that dinner needs to be reserved in advance and cannot be booked during check‑in. We only learned about this when we arrived, and by then it was already too late to make a reservation for the same evening. It would have been very helpful to communicate this more clearly beforehand, by mentioning that there is a deadline and that it should be done the day before. Since we mainly chose this hotel because of the restaurant, this was a major disappointment for us. In general, I feel like without the restaurant experience, it's a bit overpriced. It would also be more convenient to simply include the 10 euros for parking in the room price – there seem to be enough parking spots for each room, so charging separately felt a bit unnecessary. Breakfast was okay, but there were not many options. For me the checkout at 11 felt a bit early Finally, the soundproofing could be improved. I am generally relaxed about noise from above – it is an old building, after all – but we could clearly hear normal conversations from the neighboring room.
