Hotel Jothi

The hotel land lacked even the basic facility of hot water for a bath. On enquiry, the receptionist told me that we need to inform the reception to turn on the power for the hot water geyser despite their being aware that the room has been engaged by guests. I rejected what seems to be their USP of a complimentary breakfast, which is frugal small dosa, a single idli and vada and a small cup of pongal. Shockingly even a small cup of coffee is excluded!! Obviously, when even breakfast coffee is excluded, having a complimentary electric kettle and coffee and tea facility is just very high expectation. I will never ever go there again. The only good thing the place offered was the location for guests arriving by train or bus. But there appeared to be at least 8 to 10 similar places within a few metres. (I admit I have no knowledge of the facilities these other places offer) For me the ₹1945, I paid for this place could have been spent better!

Dichtbij station van Coimbatore en goed voor een nachtje na de toytrain rit vanuit Ooty.

Eenvoudige kamers zonder veel franjes. De handdoeken en de lakens waren niet proper gewassen en het complex gaf een troosteloze indruk
