Belika Beach

The staff were all very friendly and happy to help with any of our requests. They were also really helpful with tips on what to do in Hiriketiya and nearby.

It was very quiet and while peaceful, felt a little lonely but maybe that’s because there weren’t many other guests staying at that time. Maybe some more slightly upbeat music would help!

Everything! The private, boutique feel, the quirky design, and the location. The wildlife just in the grounds of this hotel is incredible! Monkeys, lizards, peacocks, bats, fire flies! Don’t worry, they keep their distance!

The accommodation was fantastic and left nothing to be desired. The breakfast was delightful, and the sea view – even directly from the room – was unbeatable. Thank you for the wonderful days at your special place!

What a lovely place to stay. Only 3 rooms, so it feels very private. The view from the rooms onto the ocean, which is literally a stones throw away, is incredible. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners and staff and have already recommended Belika to a heap of people looking for a peaceful stay in Hiri.

Belika sits on a gorgeous spot overlooking a little cove. The rooms are massive and we had a raised bed so woke up to the horizon, the waves and the fishing boats heading home each morning. It’s a cool and quirky design, excellent (and massive) breakfasts, lovely lovely hosts with tons of great suggestions for beaches and places to explore and we fell in love with Foxy the shy hotel dog and Mango the talkative cat 🥰

There is very little not to like. Service is great, loved the design… and perfect location, just a 5 minute walk from Hiriketiya bay with all its beach bars and bustle, but quiet and secluded perched in its own cove. Walking home at night watching fireflies all around was magical..Our room had an outside bathroom which is lovely, but did give us wet toilet paper and towels that we had left hanging outside when the rainstorms decided to descend - but it all dried in the morning😊
