Celestial All Suites

This is a good looking new hotel with an Instaworthy pool, designed to be photographed. The fabric of the hotel is good, but there’s a lot that needs to be polished up here. Nice local taverna at the beach, which was better than expected.

The food is laughably bad – my wife and I joked it was prison food. This is odd because their marketing suggests they have ambitions to offer a fine dining experience and at the top of the hotel there’s a vegetable garden with potential for delicious home-grown ingredients. In reality, they can’t even cook a lasagne without forgetting the bechamel sauce and cheese. Food is mass produced on the cheap, and you can see the guests struggling to finish it. The beach is only five minutes away where there is a great taverna called Denis, so we learned to have big lunches there (delicious food from attentive staff), as we couldn’t stomach the hotel dinners and even the breakfasts were somehow messed up by staff who can’t do the basics. Diana on the front desk was very friendly and welcoming, but otherwise management is totally absent. Hotel management really should be interacting with the guests and welcoming, but who and where were they? The staff were generally forgetful, lacking in basic hospitality skills. They seemed untrained and out of their depth. So a good looking hotel, but we were glad to have only booked a short stay.

The meals were very filling and of a very good quality! The staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean. The hotel amenities are very good. I especially liked the gym!

The hotel didn't feel like we were in Greece, everything, from menus to signs to TVs were only in English which is a bit unfortunate for local tourists that do not speak English. There were some power outages which left us without hot water for quite some time.

The design and quality of everything is fab and in particular the pool and the view of the mountains- stunning .

The staff weren’t the best , the food could have been better , the music played during breakfast and all day was awful - screechy teenage pop .Also paying for extra water and coffee pods after the freebies were used was tight given the room rate - could also do with an ATM .

Great facilities and location

The food and drink offering could be refined a little, I.e. serving nuts with drinks from plastic cups. It would be nice if the food and drink selection celebrated the incredible array of local Greek food and wine

Attention to detail was very evident all the way from the flower pads to the swimming pool to the room itself. All rooms had private swimming pools which were well positioned looking at the forest and having sea views. Their lighting at night was very romantic. Yet this great place was unpretentious. The whole place was modern and very clean. The common pool was very big and it was great for good swim laps. Breakfast had a great selection of fruits, cooked food, nuts, yogourts and they were all fresh and tasting great. Dinners were very good with a good selection of salads, vegetarian, meats, deserts. There were even theme dinner nights like Italian and Greek nights. Service was great and stuff was very polite, helpful, professional. Chris, you were great and the other guy from Agrinio(I am so sorry that I don’t recall your name) was very hard working and professional. All in all, it was a fantastic week.
