Το πρωινό ήταν χορταστικό και είχε μεγάλη ποικιλία. Όσο για την τοποθεσία, είναι θαυμάσια. Βρίσκεται δίπλα στον ιστορικό ποταμό Ζυγάκτη, τον περίφημο κάμπο των Φιλίππων, γνωστό από τη μάχη του 42π.Χ. ανάμεσα στον Οκταβιανό και τον Αντώνιο και τους δολοφόνους του Καίσαρα, Βρούτο και Κάσσσιο, την εκκλησία της Αγίας Λυδίας, της πρώτης χριστιανής της Ευρώπης, και βέβαια τον αρχαιολογικό χώρο των Φιλίππων.

Το νερό αργούσε να ζεσταθεί.

Breakfast was very adequate and quickly served. The location is excellent. It is easier to walk to Lydia's baptismal site than drive, and the main sites of Philippi and the archaeological museum are very close by.

The shower is pretty small. However, this may bother Americans more than Europeans. I also like my food served hot, but I believe not doing so is a cultural phenomenon in Greece, so the hotel shouldn't be blamed.
