Hotel Mönichwalderhof

The location was beautiful, the hungarian speaking staff was very very kind and helpful, the parking place is in the back (near the beautiful forest slopes) right in front of our balcony. The wellness (with pool and sauna non stop opening) was just under our room; it's the perfect pastime if the weather is not so kind. Food is delicious and you shall never skip the sunday lunch!

Bed mattresses were too soft for us and no fridge in room (but it's cold outside on balcony :) ). The daily programs and menu (which is very helpful indeed) was only if german language, but that's just nit-picking :)

We enjoyed the pool and spa area and our large and comfortable room. The full board meals offered a good variety of choices. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located in a valley so we hiked to the top of the hill to catch some winter sun.

I was surprised by limited space in wellness and there is no wihrpool

We stayed in one of the new rooms. The room was very big, big bathroom, big balcony, modern with very comfortable beds and sofa. Food was delicious. Dog friendly hotel. We especially enjoyed the late check out (we left about 4pm). I also enjoyed the facial treatment and pedicure with Mrs. Rita and the massage with Mrs. Verena (not sure if spelled correctly). Great place to chill out.

All the meals were great, the location is peaceful and ideal for hiking.

I could have used a some fitness equipment
