Hotel Aldea Pura Vida

The location is great if you want to take the ferry boat. Although Google maps showed us a lication far up the street the locals could tell us where it was and we found it imediatly. The receptionist was very kind and we could park the car inside. The beds are very comfortable.

It is a very basic room and nothing very special.

Beachfront and pet friendly.

The room was fair, the bed was ok, the plumbing needs work. Need to ascertain when cleaning service is provided and what it includes

It has changed management and things are not as good. They tried to charge me for my dog and pet policy says no charge. Food and room service was terrible. They charged my card before I got there and I also booked for month of February and they charged my card in December. It is not that great place I use to love.

I loved this place. Simple but comfortable room with a lovely and helpful staff. The food that came out of the kitchen was fantastic and the price was comparable to any other restaurant in the area. I totally recommend this place.

I had no water when I woke up the next morning to take a shower or wash my face! I had to ask the nice lady cleaning the rooms for a bucket of water to wash my face and brush my teeth. The google map gives the wrong location. This place is in the middle of the peninsula and not at almost the end which google map tells you! The beach is a disaster! It is full of trash! The city needs to clean up the beach.
