The Saint Vlassis

Worth every penny.

I’m sure that for many people Saint Vlassis is a perfect choice, it delivers excellency in many aspects. Unfortunately we can only give 7/10 rating based on our recent stay at the penthouse suite. First, some good things: - Excellent selection at breakfast and the serving varies a bit each day - Pet friendly hotel - Personal welcome note with some chocolate in the room made us feel welcome - They gave very good restaurant recommendations based on our preferences - Cleaning 5/5! - Great water pressure in the room - Beautiful, spacious suite with everything you could need (from Molton Brown toiletries, earplugs and sleeping masks to bathrobes and even hair styling iron!) - Friendly and helpful staff, except for one lady in the morning who didn’t order the taxis we requested so we ended up being late from our tour

We wanted something extra special for our honeymoon and booked the penthouse suite because of the rooftop jacuzzi. Only to find out the jacuzzi was broken! The massaging jets didn’t work at all for the whole 5-night stay, and at one time water suddenly started to splatter everywhere and it couldn’t be turned off (called reception, they managed to stop it by turning off the electricity). So the most important thing for us didn’t work and we had to contact hotel staff several times just to follow up whether it would be fixed during our stay or not (it wasn’t - apparently getting the spare part would take time), which brought lots of negativity and uncertainty to our days - certainly not something you wish for during your honeymoon. We were super disappointed and ended up using the jacuzzi as a regular dipping pool just to get something out of it, some value for the extra money we paid for.
