Hotel-Landgasthof Ploss

The room was superb! Large, newly renovated and clean. We enjoyed the night we spent here very much. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open in the evening but there was a restaurant on the other side of the road that served a good schnitzel.

Unfortunately, most of the breakfast was gone when we, a family of four, came down for breakfast. We asked the lady who worked there if she could refill the breakfast (bread, cheese, bacon, eggs) but received a very bad treatment in return. She said that they didn’t have more, that the other guests had eaten it all. We pointed out that the breakfast is open between 8am and 10am, and now it’s 9am. The lady just turned her back on me and left, and the breakfast was not replenished.

It was easy to find, great atmosphere, very comfortable and included a bar fridge and coffee/tea making facilities which many hotels in Germany do not have. Lovely sized balcony, room and bathroom. It was such a nice surprise. Recommend staying more than one night if you have the opportunity. Close to Selb and other sites or travelling from north to south of Germany. Staff are friendly and the restaurant was good including the breakfast buffet.
