"Waste of a trip"

I could see the property could be beautiful.

Booked this property as it showed a beautiful pool, with bar and restaurant in the listing. It was a chance to just have a couple of rest days on our tour of Italy and laze by the pool. Instead, the pool was green and dirty, area overgrown. Couldn’t even sit out in the garden. Instead of lazing by the pool we had to try and find something to do in the area and find somewhere to eat as the restaurant was closed as well at the property. It could have been as it was near end of May and out of season. Looked like they were starting work on cleaning up. However, if that is the case, there should be advice that these facilities are closed during these periods.
