Villa Faros small hotel and restaurant

Villa Faros is an amazing hotel. We loved the staff, loved the location, and loved the food. Everyone was so kind and friendly. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. The property is walking distance from so many beaches, they helped us rent a car that got delivered to the hotel, and the breakfast was made to order every day. We highly recommend this property for your time on Naxos.

The Wifi at the hotel and in the public areas is often interrupted and does not at all comply with today's technical standards.

Absolutely everything. There are simply not enough stars to rate it. The hotel (and the restaurant, of course) is wonderful, located in a slice of heaven, but even more wonderful is the people who run it and make it happen, from first to last: their kindness, hospitality and heart welcome is overwhelming. Just like the old song: we'll meet again, don't know when, but do know where: Villa Faros!

Not being able to stay any longer.

My family was so happy here. We added 3 nights for a total of 6, and no one was ready to leave. Kids are 6 and 10. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable with a huge terrace where we spent the mornings looking at the sea - just across the road down a path, next to the protected cedar forest. Often we went to this beach after dinner to watch the sun set and moon rise! Dinner was spectacular- we ate in the restaurant 4-5 times and there were still things I wanted that I didn’t have the chance to order! My daughter, a picky eater, tried and loved veal with lemon sauce. Breakfast was fresh, wonderful and fun - you check off items you want the night before and leave it under the “breakfast stone” in the office. Pool was great for the hot afternoons. Finally, we loved every member of the staff and felt cared for in a personal way. It’s a family business and you feel it. Thank you Faros!!!

I hadn’t quite pictured all the driving we’d have to do to get from Faros to the main town and other little villages. Unfamiliar with the roads and relying on google maps, we kept missing turns on the mountain roads so we spent more time than I’d like in the car. BUT it was worth it for the special atmosphere at Faros.

We liked everything! Outstanding place, restaurant and family!

The breakfast was very generous - there were many things to choose from, like pancakes, eggs, omelet, yogurt, cereal etc. It was provided warm and the fresh juice was outstanding. The children were very pleased with kid-friendly options. What a nice treat to eat right on site as well! The pool area was immaculate - so clean - as was the room. There are also a number of beaches close by that are kid friendly and easily accessible. The restaurant on site was delicious and the Restaurant Manager Aldo, and Vicki and the entire family that ran the hotel, were so lovely, accommodating and genuinely kind with us and our children! Recommend this family-owned hotel and restaurant!

Everything was wonderful!

The villa was very nicely decorated/furniture. Really great spot opposite the beach. Beaches are very clean and quite, so no bars and sunbeds which we like. Breakfast was great, large variation of quality and mainly local products. Host Vicky is very nice and gives great tips. The restaurant serves great food.

Excellent location. Quiet, clean, friendly and helpful staff, wonderful restaurant.
