Ämmän Hotelli

The beds were okay, there was hot water and the apartment was warm. There was some coffee and tea left and sugar, no salt and pepper though.

There was no-one at the reception. We were told to take the key from under the mat in front of the door. The apartment had a strange smell, the toilet was not clean, the bed linen in one bed had strange black spots. I found an old piece of candy next to my bed. WIFI was of poor quality or didn't work at all. It was very noisy at night. At the departure, again, there was nobody at the reception. Said they were coming at 6pm to collect the money cash. Fortunately, a friend of ours paid for us and we paid her back. To be honest, I've never had such an awkward experience in a hotel. Definitely too expensive for what was there. We should have stayed in the Spa hotel in Suomussalmi. Not great rooms either from what we heard, but extremely friendly and helpful staff.
