Earnest Hotel Georgetown

Very friendly and accommodating staff and hotel's permanent resident. The location is great. Walking distance to everywhere you would like to explore as a traveller in Georgetown. It is quiet at night for a good rest. There's a 24 hours convenience store nearby. I enjoyed observing life and activities surrounding the hotel especially in the night.

It is outdated and not as clean as I would like it. There is no private parking.

Good air conditioning and the shower had great pressure. Great location and clean rooms.

The hotel had first floor rooms directly next to a working kitchen which is not ideal when trying to sleep. The first floor rooms open directly into an old unused cafe, with fish tanks gurgling away lol. The cafe area is now defunct and mid-renovation and no longer serves the hotel. The check-in area is also very basic with a (very kind) long term guest helping more than the staff.
