Seaside Gouves

Best part of the hotel is host Linda! She made out whole Experience so special! Hotel is really nice and is close to Heraklion and beautiful beaches! Food is Fresh and homemade and one of the best se had trough our whole travel. I highly recommend this hotel! We had the best time!

Hotel ristorante a conduzione familiare. La struttura ha avuto sicuramente giorni migliori. Camere spaziose con un’ affascinante vista mare. Arredo un po’ agè col tavolino e le sedie del balconcino completamente arrugginite. Abbiamo soggiornato solo 3 notti. Non ci è mai stata cambiata la biancheria né tantomeno il letto è mai stato rifatto. Colazione con uova e bacon preparate al momento dalla proprietaria. Non c’è scelta dolce/salato. Non abbiamo provato la cucina del ristorante.

We had a amazing week at the Seaside Gouves. Room with a view to the sea, the most wonderful people working there. You step out at the front, and can go to a casual swim in the sea few meters away. Wonderful feeling. And the food... We tried the best rated restaurants in the neighborhood, but nothing topped Seaside. And the prices are great too. Recommended wholeheartedly!

Everything was perfect! The apartments are clean and spacious, equipped with all the amenities you could need. The location is ideal, with a beautiful pebbled beach just across the road. The food was absolutely delicious, served in generous portions, as owner Linda is not only the best cook but also a warm, kind-hearted person who makes you feel completely at home. Special mention goes to Apostolos, the best waiter, funny, friendly, and always ready to help. Linda’s daughter Imelda, a perfect image of her mother, is also incredibly kind and welcoming, as is her funny brother. The combination of a wonderful stay and such warmhearted hosts has already convinced us to return next year. The apartments are only a 15-minute ride from Heraklion Airport, with all possible venues nearby. I would rate the entire experience 10 out of 5! Thank you, Linda, and your amazing team!

Property is in a perfect location right on the seafront and was spotless clean. Staff were excellent and our room was lovely…even had its own pool!

The location is good – the sea is right across from the accommodation, and it’s only a 5-minute walk to the town center. The staff were kind and tried to be helpful. However, we probably wouldn’t choose this hotel again due to the rather poor room equipment, dirty towels, repetitive and basic breakfast, and the high humidity in the room – we’re quite sure there was mold as well.

When we arrived, we were a bit disappointed. As soon as we opened the door to the room, we could clearly smell dampness. The cleanliness of the room and the pool wasn’t great. The towels provided were dirty, and the pool was also quite cold – it’s west-facing, so it doesn’t get any sun during the day. The quality of the room equipment was poor – the power socket flickered every time we plugged in a charger. Breakfast was the same every day – two fried eggs, bacon, and two slices of toast.

The Establishment is in a good location. the sea is just across the road P.S. remember to bring shoes for the beach as the stretch in front of the Hotel is a pebble beach. (there are Sandy Beaches within walking Distance if you prefer this). Linda who runs the Hotel is Amazing, very friendly and extremely helpful. The Food Breakfast and Dinner was top Notch. Very safe environment, walked on the beach front every night.
