Location good for accessible transport links. Night atmosphere and pleasant staff.

Hotel is tired and in desperate need of an uplift, painting redecoration. Price charged was £4 dearer than booking with Booking.com. Manager Ashley said she would investigate but no response given. Tv was not on wall straight, bathroom fan loose on ceiling and noisy. Toilet did not work correctly.

Very good place to have a trip or fun. Closed to train station and the environment is quite and clean

Its was near my destination and allk amenities.

The pillows were terrible not at all comfortable.

Wonderful welcoming staff, who actually understand hospitality. Special mention for Alex, who carried my elderly dad's suitcase up the stairs on arrival. Meals were excellent too, as well as the drinks prices. Beer was looked after. Location was perfect, especially given the awful weather on arrival Felt secure. We had come from Wales to Essex for one of my dad's army friend's funeral, so it was important that he felt comfortable. Being next to the station was a godsend too, since we had luggage. Good breakfast It was so busy when we arrived, which is testament to the popularity of the place. Well done
