SIWe had a confirmed reservation at Hotel Matal, Medjugorje, for 15–16 August. Upon arrival in the evening, the hotel owner was extremely rude and refused to accommodate us, claiming our booking was for 10 August – which is completely false. Our reservation clearly stated 15–16 August. To make matters worse, she had already sold our room to someone else and literally threw us out of the hotel at night, leaving us on the street with four children. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable, unprofessional, and a clear violation of Booking.com policies. I have photo evidence and a conversation with her husband.
