The friendliness of the staff and their willingness to go out of their way to meet special requests

The restrictions imposed on evening meal times. I understand the need for this in view of the very small number of residents but it did impinge on the freedom and enjoyment of those few.

The staff was very friendly The pool was clean and a nice size. Lovely views too. Rooms also very clean.

They put us in a different room that we didn't book because the original room we had booked was not in order. The aircon and television was faulty. And without informing us when we arrived they moved us. The other unit was ok. Would have been nice if they had told us beforehand and not when I questioned them about the booking.

I feel the place is at a perfect location and has so much to offer.

I was not aware that we would be staying on the 2nd floor (quite a few stairs) not overlooking the lake. As a first time visitor I kind of felt mis lead by the pictures. As I was alone with my almost 70 year old parents it would have been nice to be offered assistance with luggage. Parking was an absolute nightmare and not explained properly at check-in as there were also a wedding on the premises.

The view was beautiful.

One of the worst hotels we've ever stayed in. The room was filthy, there was mold on the roof and the carpets AND bedding was dirty.

The fact that there were 2 bathrooms and enough space for a fam of 5

No coffee or tea on arrival .Had to go braai on the roof which is another 4 flights of stairs seeing that we were on the 2nd floor...To little staff at the restaurant so you waited very long for food and drinks . Asked for grilled fish and prawn received baked and battered . Someone parked in our parking bay and we had to struggle to get the person to move because their is no actual tags or slips given to you at reception
