Badezimmer sehr klein

Sehr netter Kellner beim Frühstück. Lage ist top. Unkomplizierter Checkin.

Was soll man sagen, alte Zimmer. Alles vor 40 Jahren modern gewesen. Die WC Falttür ist mies. Die Duschkabine winzig. Die Handtücher hauchdünn und verschlissen. Kein Föhn, sehr sehr hellhörig. Alles knarrt. Es ist halt einfach lange nix mehr investiert worden weils halt so oder so ausbucht sind. Nur ein Schlüssel zu zweit. Frühstück so spartanisch wie ich es noch nie zuvor erlebt hab. Kein Obst oder Gemüse.

I enjoyed my stay at this simple but practical hotel. Reading the previous reviews I expected much worse, but was nicely surprised when arrived. Staff was super sweet from receptionist lady who checked me in 2 hours earlier than they normally do at Wagner(just across the road) to cleaning girls who came every day to tidy up the room and friendly guys who served really good breakfast. Wifi was strong in my room (11), bed firm and comfy. Shower was newly refurbished with good pressure, and room was warm (and you can control the heating) and good size with enough furniture and a nice view. Heated changing room and storage downstairs was handy as well

The main issue is the building itself which seemed to be built without any soundproof isolation at all. You will hear every sound of people around, so have earplugs! A bit of musty smell in the public lounge and retro decor from 80s-90s might not be to your taste. Pillows in my room were way too thin (I used two as stayed alone in the double room)
