Hotel Gamsleiten

The food was outstanding. Great value. Staff was VERY friendly, as so were the owners. Very personable. Ski in and out perfect location. Great massage. Outdoor pool was great overlooking the slopes. And the wellness area was clean and had great extra touches (like the tea station with snacks and customizable water). At 3pm they served a snack buffet that was really awesome. Booked on a whim but definitely would come back to Obertauern just for this hotel. Outstanding.

Great location, unreal spa facilities and superb pool overlooking the slopes. Friendly staff (especially the restaurant staff!!) and lovely food - alot of choice for both breakfast and dinner. They were very kind in letting us store our baggage on the last day!

Being charged for tap-water is unfair and felt hassled to buy drinks at dinner. We were also rushed to leave dinner once we had finished, the barman also decided to rush us out of the bar (at 11pm) earlier than it was due to close (12pm) - he urged us to finish drinking in our rooms which we felt was not great.

Beautiful place, amazing staff, perfect location (literally right next to the ski lift)! Not cheap but fully worth it. Will come back for sure

Location, staff ,food excellent

This was one of the best hotels we've ever visited. We felt very welcomed and confortable here. All staff members were incredibly nice and willing. Food was amazing, every single dish was delicious, buffet breakfast, cake and coffe at the everning and 4-course dinner. Room was comfortable and big with great views at the ski slope. Ski lift is right behind the hotel. Hotel bar is with great vibe. Spa is beautifull with delicious free drinks and snacks, bathrobes and outdoor pool at the terrace with ski slope views and sauna with views. Very well equiped ski room with secured heated lockers for at least 4 pairs of boots and other Sports equipment. Complimentary services including parking snow removing and charging station right in front of the hotel. At the check-out we got present - home made bread. We will definitely come again.

I would love to have a kettle at the room.
