Gibbon Lodge is an amazing gem that deserves more visitors and praise. The location, lodging, and staff are all wonderful. We were especially impressed with the spacious bathroom! For the price, it is a great find and we even extended our stay.

Our only feedback is the lack of cleaning services, and the initial smell of the room is a bit strange. After three nights of staying here, they never offered to clean the room. After two days, it would be nice for them to do or at least ask. During the first 1-2 days, the room had a musty smell that faded. They may need a different cleaning product or should plug in a lavender or lemon room scent dispenser to improve the smell.

Staff were soooo nice loved the little huts the lady running the place helped us with booking a trek which was really good and helped us book a bus to cross the boarder to Vietnam
