All was great
USReasonably priced lodging is difficult to find in St Andrews. The Saint was our best option. The Inn is within walking distance to Saint Andrews Golf course. The breakfast was good. It was nice not to have a buffet. We were able to select from the menu. The Inn was close to restaurants and bakeries.
It was noisy. The students partied throughout the night and were up early in morning at a bakery across the street. We did not realize there was no lift. Fortunately, the staff (somewhat reluctantly) offered to help with our luggage when they saw my 80 year old husband struggling.
GBGreat location, comfortable bed and staff were really helpful despite being run off their feet.
Nice hotel. a bit pricey for what you get but I. guess this is the norm for St Andrews. Shortage of staff.
