Anchor Inn Boutique Hotel

We love the Anchor Inn, such a classy place and the owner, Paul, is so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean, the gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The breakfast there is delicious with many options to choose from. See you next year!

I have stayed in a few B&Bs but the Anchor Inn Boutique has been the best by far. Its location is just a short walk from restaurants, shops and the water. The rooms are decorated in a lovely nautical theme with the most comfortable beds (all king), beautiful and spacious baths, refrigerator and coffee maker with numerous accompaniments. Each room has has an adjoining balcony to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Each evening, the room is turned down, shades/curtains pulled down, sweets left to enjoy. The owners of the Inn are most welcoming and strive to make one's stay a relaxing and wonderful experience. Breakfast is outstanding and made to perfection. There is no other accommodation I would even consider when visiting PIB.

It was centrally located. Nice and quiet. Breakfast was amazing. Hands down, amazing.

Amenities, the balcony floor hurt my feet, the bathroom door never stays shut, the comforter is so scratchy and awful. They overwork their staff. Those girls work a full 12-13 hour day. The bathroom door was annoying. It doesn't stay shut. I really thought with such high ratings there would be better amenities. They had tiny shampoo and soap bottles. Hard to use and get the soap out. I had much better experiences at Comfort Inn. The comforter was SUPER scratchy and uncomfortable. Yuck. So was the robe. I hated "turn down time" . It is so awkward for everyone. They should ask folks, would you like a turn down time., in which they enter your room at 7pm and turn down your sheets and leave chocolate. I'd like a choice to just have the chocolate left at the door. I don't want to be disturbed at that hour. When they "refreshed," for our second day, they did not even refresh our shower gels that we needed that I THOUGHT they'd at least provide. I wiped the floor of my bathroom with the floor towel and it was filthy. I would not ever stay here again tho. I missed having a swimming pool and or hot tub. It wasn't that great to lose those things.

It was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had at a hotel. Such a variety and those lemon ricotta pancakes, WOW. Rooms had thoughtful small touches and very quiet for a party town.

There was nothing we did not like.

Everything was perfect. Spotlessly clean. Decorated beautifully. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious.

I cannot think of anything that we did not like.

Wonderful. Exceptional. Close to everything, but yet quiet. The staff and host, Paul, were awesome. Breakfasts were amazing.
