"Room rather disappointing"

Very friendly staff. Offered suitable room for pets.

Room itself was not very clean. Found a hairclip on the floor and generally not as clean as I am used to at this hotel.

Loads of choice for breakfast Location was excellent for our trip to Beamish Living Museum

My poached eggs were lukewarm and the cafetière of coffee was filter coffee and not ground beans
