Holiday Inn Washington by IHG

Lovely place to stay.

Breakfast on our 2nd day was a bit like leftovers. 9.15 we came for breakfast. It's on until 10. Was asked at 9.25 if we were needing anything else hot. Started clearing things away when other people arrived.

The room was clean well equipped too. We has a superior room it had an iron & ironing board, a coffee machine, large TV, kettle, & fridge. The fridge was stocked daily with water, Pepsi, & a kitkat. The room was also stocked daily with a packet of crisps and two packets of luxury biscuits. The bathroom had luxury spa soap, shampoo, conditioner and hand cream. The sheets were wonderfully white & clean as was the towels. We had an armchair, floor lamp and a desk chair, and a phone. We liked the room and will come again. The housekeeping was polite and done a good job, as was the reception staff. We liked the Starbucks and bar. There is also food available to order. There was a wedding group in and the hotel looked like they done a great wedding reception for them. We got chatting to the bride and some guests, they all had a nice time. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Niets buitengewoons.

De tv was kapot. Deed het niet en dat met FIFA wereldkampioenschappen voetbal. Naar receptie geweest en zouden het oplossen. Later in de avond kwam een kollega die de tv aankreeg door de tv-toets en tegelijk de aan/uit knop in drukte. 30 min. Later zwart beeld. Midden in de nacht gaat plotseling de tv aan. S'morgens weer gemeld zouden het oplossen. Bij terugkomst: niets gedaan en Nederland moet spelen. Weer naar onder. Komt later een snuiter de slaat op de tv en deze gaat aan. Dus 2 niet juist. 1. Service niet goed, en oude apparaten.

Great location. Great air conditioning. Friendly staff.

The beds are not so comfortable Generally somewhat run down as a hotel.
