The property is indeed a unique place to stay. It is part of a big house and the rooms have been modified to suit the requirments of travellers. The room is quite big with a old fashioned cot which really adds to the charm of the room. The staff, consisiting of two boys were very helpful. The parking of the car has to be on the road in front. Since it is a quiet neighbourhood parking is quite safe. The breakfast was yummy. Idli, dosa, pongal with chutney, sambaar etc. All in all I would say value for money.

Availability of hot water for bath etc could be improved.

Lovely quiet location in a residential street , within walking distance to big temple. Hot water worked great. Staff were really helpful and keen to help. Don’t miss the fantastic family restaurant a couple of doors down. They do a fantastic taster menu of traditional and typical Tamil Nadu vegetarian foods eaten.

Ell hotel es una casa de las denominadas antiguas (heritage), muy bonita y está en una zona residencial muy tranquila. El personal en general fue muy amable en todo momento. La habitación era muy grande, con luz y un baño espacioso. Todo estaba limpio. El desayuno estaba incluido: tortilla, tostadas con mermelada y mantequilla (te sacaban otras continuamente), café o té. La relación calidad precio buena.

En el desayuno podrían incluir algo de fruta. La ubicación, muy alejado de todo, aunque cuando lo situas en el mapa, ya ves dónde está, tienes las vías y una carretera casi sin arcén que te separan de los lugares a visitar.

bathroom fixtures not cleaned for ages. shower only some work due to blockage . the hot water mixer was not working the flush did not work (water does not get into the flush tank there is no demarkation for shwer area and the pot and wash basin resulting in whole area getting wet after a bath the floor of bathroom androom are dirty

Nice heritage looking stay. The staff were amazing and very helpful to us. Also checkout the restaurant next door for some authentic tamil nadu cuisine.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staffs were very polite. Breakfast was south indian and good. It was more of a homestay experience. We would definitely like to stay there again.

Lizard in the bathroom.

The location was spot on and within a few kilometers from most of the attractions [especailly The Big Temple]. It was also close to a vegetarian restaurant 50 meters that is very highly rated and a fab place. We had most of our meals at that location.

The room was too cosy. Just about enough space to have a couple of bags in the room. There was no ventilation and it was quite stuffy. Could not open the windows as the mosquitoes would have made a meal of us.
