Friendly staff, always very helpful, the room for the money was outstanding very good value. Plenty to do loads of shops, handy public transport and plenty places to eat. We will definitely be going back.

Lovely staff and old school seaside guest house/hotel. Cheap, comfy room in convenient location close to beach and town. Functional and comfortable. Kettle in room and microwave in hallway helpful for those needing to picnic in room, as no meal service available.

Don't recommend if you like peace, quiet and going to bed before 1am. It's above a pub, music and loud customers kept us awake each night.

This was a very cheap nights stay. The staff were very helpful and accommodating I arrived before check in but my room was ready and I was able to park my car. It is in a good location a short distance from the sea front and near to the town centre. If you want basic and just somewhere to sleep for little money this is the place.

It is very tired and needs some TLC. There were a lot of electrical extension leads in the rooms so I was not confident plugging anything else in. Wifi was free but poor maybe because I was on the top floor. The bedding had some marks on it although the bed was comfy. It was very noisy until the early hours as there is a pub attached so if you want a quiet night this is not the place for you. For one night it was ok but I probably would not stay there again.

The location was good and bed comfortable.

The room was right above a pub, which wasn’t mentioned online. There is an outdoor speaker just under the window and music goes on until midnight. Very loud music inside the pub too and no quiet until 1am.

Great location, and helpful friendly staff. Convenient for metro, eateries and shops. Whitely Bay was a nice place to stay, and quieter option than Newcastle City Centre.

More steps than expected, and decor maybe a bit tired, but outweighed by positives.

Location is great, with friendly staff members. The room is very clean, featuring a nice view and a very big window. I think everything is great for this price.

I really didn't mind this, but there is a pub on the ground floor, so you might hear some music. Although they are turning off the music at a sensible time, so maybe just be mindful about this if you are traveling with a small child.

The room was good and spacious. The staff are really good. We did enjoy our stay because it was close to the shops and buses.

It was just the toilet was very noisy when we flush it.
