"“Sotto le aspettative, bagno indecente."

La posizione

Abbiamo soggiornato all’Hotel Amaryllis di Paros e purtroppo dobbiamo dire che il rapporto qualità-prezzo è del tutto inesistente. Per la cifra spesa ci aspettavamo uno standard decisamente più alto. L’hotel è datato, le camere sono piuttosto squallide e i bagni semplicemente inaccettabili: piccoli, senza alcun sistema di areazione, con una doccia dotata di tenda e scarichi che allagano completamente il bagno ogni volta che la si usa. Mancano prese di corrente sufficienti (un dettaglio fondamentale oggi), e il sistema di aria condizionata è obsoleto e poco efficiente. Per confronto, con lo stesso prezzo abbiamo soggiornato per tre notti in una villa con piscina a Mykonos, con tutt’altro livello di comfort e qualità. Non consigliato, almeno non a queste tariffe. Lettini posti su di un pratino non curato e pieno d insetti,,passerelle in legno pericolose con chiodi sporgenti.

The hotel is a bit off center of Paros - on the other side of the island so you will need a car if you plan on moving around. Our balcony room with a partial sea view was nice and very clean. From the reception to the cleaning staff, everyone is courteous and always with a smile. The hotel is ideally located on the Golden Beach. You can walk along the coastal trail to Drios, or along the Golden Beach shore.

The bathroom drain can be tricky and you can easily wet the whole bathroom. The restaurant next door was putting very loud music so depending on where you were sunbathing you could hear two different types of music, it is quite unsettling and not very peaceful. Still, the beach club is very nice, the staff there is incredible and the food is delicious!
