Hotel Plaza Yat Balam Anexo

Breakfast was great, good choice, had the traditional Honduran option, Other options were avaliable, staff were super polite and engage, our room had a balcony, Super clean bathroom, we had a very secure parking area, the whole place was beautifuly presented,,plants, and seating areas, very secure, Best thing was the service. Of the girls who went above and beyond to make. Our stay pleasant,, always smiling, that makes a big difference to a traveller, top marks

The property was nice and well located

I irked the staff but they didn’t communicate well. I left a signet ring on the room. When I called from the bus and ask them to look for it, instead of going up there to find it, they said no one had cleaned the room yet so they didn’t know if it was there or not. Very strange. I still have not heard from them about my ring.

Our room was around the corner from the GPS locate Yat Balam. In the morning you have to walk to the other location for breakfast. Not really an issue just when arriving it was a bit confusing. Bonus was the off road parking around back. Low riding cars might scrap the bottom of the car due to the transition from the road up the driveway.

First room toilet leaked from bottom base when flushed. Put water out into the floor. Moved rooms. Second room was not up to my wifes "clean" standards but for me it was fine.

Central location, clean with character and outdoor spaces. Very good staff.

No hot water, no pool, and the roof could be a great little hangout with a little investment!
