Poseidon of Paros Hotel & Spa

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel cinq étoiles et avons été enchantés par le cadre. La piscine est magnifique et la plage, bien que petite, offre un charme certain avec son promontoire idéal pour la plongée. Le personnel est particulièrement attentif et agréable, contribuant grandement à la qualité de l'expérience. Les chambres sont sous forme de petits bungalows accolés. L'excellente literie, les serviettes de plages sont fournies et changées tous les jours. L'hôtel offre également la possibilité de faire de belles promenades dans les environs, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié.

Cependant, il est important de noter que l'hôtel n'est pas très bien insonorisé. Nous entendions malheureusement les pleurs du bébé de la chambre voisine, ce qui nous a réveillés en pleine nuit. De plus, l'établissement est éloigné de tout, une voiture est donc indispensable pour se déplacer et explorer les alentours. Enfin, prévoyez d'être bien équipés contre les moustiques : les produits locaux ne semblent pas très efficaces !

-Very dissapointing breakfast, far from being of a 5 star hotel. Meat of cheapest quality and very little variety from one day to another. - Bar prices of Mykonos or Santorini. - Bed is quite hard and I found it is not easy to sleep. - Renovation is required within rooms - shower room is tiny and the shower head/ rail are the cheapest you can find in the market. - Sun lounge area needs maintenance - path crossing it has no decking. - Not great value for money.

Every thing!! The swim platform, the views, the friendly staff. Comfy sofas in the room. They even supplied me with yoga mat for my room

Bed a little hard ....... Eggs were a bit grim at brekkie but that's it.

Absolument tout, surtout ma surprise de voir mes produits préférés en miniature dans salle de bain. Egalement l’hôtel est magnifique moderne bien géré et calme. Le restaurant fait des plats délicieux et les vins proposés sont très bon. Le personnel est qualifié très sympathique et toujours de bonne humeur prêt à vous recevoir.

Le taille, la vue et la propreté de la chambre. Le free parking. Les installations de qualité de l’hôtel (jardin, piscine et salles de sport) et sa situation géographique.

Prestations du breakfast légèrement insuffisantes par rapport au standing de l’hôtel (café soluble, peu voire pas de renouvellement du buffet jour après jour, aucune préparation minute,…). Personnel peu concerné, plus réactif que proactif. Aucune possibilité d’ouvrir les parasols pour cause de vent, à contrario des établissements voisins.

Beautiful hotel with great services, a lot of breakfast options (even for somebody with food intolerances), beautiful spacious and clean room and a comfy bed.

Unfortunately there was some bad weather the first day of our stay which polluted the pool and it took multiple days to clean this up. This made the pool unavailable to use during the days we stayed there. Luckily the beach is close by (however our daughter really prefers the pool)

Le calme, la vue, le gentillesse du personnel, les produits de soins dans la salle de bain, le petit déjeuner. Tout était parfait!

The hotel is located on top of a little cliff with amazing views of the ocean and Golden Beach. Ocean access is via a swimming platform from which two ladders lead directly into the water. The water is deep there and you cannot stand. There are some steps leading down to the platform from the hotel garden and a couple of meters of natural rock to walk over to access the platform. The water is crystal clear and bringing snorkeling gear is recommended. The beach is right next to the hotel, about a 200m walk. There are no free sun beds, rentals are about 40Euro per day. The hotel garden is beautifully designed with lots of plants between the buildings and a little chapel. The hotel is located in a quiet area, off the main road with a few beach bars/restaurants in walking distance. Supermarket and pharmacy plus further restaurants are a 10min car ride away. I suggest renting a car for more flexibility. The rooms are spacious, most having a balcony or seating area. Staff was welcoming and supportive, especially at the restaurant. Housekeeping was top and very friendly. Special thanks to the Spa, the massage was indeed a treat.

The Poseidon is considered a 5-star luxury hotel. In terms of location and view it really is. For a full luxury experience, comparing other hotels of the same class, a few things could be improved: Water - there is only one bottle provided at the day of arrival. The tap water is no drinking water. We were told we can get water at the pool bar or restaurant. Since we had a car, we went to the supermarket and got a couple six-packs for the rooms. In a hot summer destination water should be easier available. Room service - there is a fee. For one day we ordered room service because of a foot-injury and were charged 10 Euro extra. Breakfast - for the two week stay was standard as in any other hotel. With respect to the limited resources of and island, a bit more variety would still be possible. Eggs could be provided to order. For non-coffee drinkers there are only standard tea bags (black, green, chamomile etc.)available. Bathrobes in the room - we got them after asking. Noise - because of the tiles you hear easily movement from the guests above, I.e. when wearing hard sole shoes.
