The Salene Hotel & Apartments

Stay at The Salene one year ago and it was lovely but this time very different, checked in and left bags when returning that afternoon and collected the keys from reception they did not say a word about our bags ( thinking they would be in our rooms) we had to then return back to reception ( which is a drive) to be told they where not told that the bags where to be put in the rooms, but more importantly why didn’t it get told where collecting the keys, the room did not have enough space for 4 people to sit comfortably and no outside space to sit comfortably as well, sun beds need to be replaced and very worn and uncomfortable, just the whole place did not feel anything like the hotel and 2 nights there very upsetting from the first visit because we where so looking forward to returning this time.

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt und das Personal war super zuvorkommend, immer freundlich und hilfsbereit! Die Rezeption stand immer mit Informationen bezügl. Ausflügen, Golfplätzen zur Verfügung! Ein sehr gutes und kleines überschaubares Haus.

Staff was very hospitable and food was great. Amenities provided were perfect and the views amazing!

Didn't like that the cottages were a bit of distance from the main hotel, but to be fair, that was communicated during booking and prior to arrival. Maybe have golf carts available for rent. Also, would have been nice if the breakfast at the main hotel was included in the rate of the cottages as we were in town for a wedding and wanted to be with family and friends during all meals.

Geweldig uitzicht, de rust van de uitgestrekte wijnvelden. De locatie ligt ver weg van alles, solitair. Goed als je rust zoekt!

De enige opmerking: je zou hier perfect een spa of Gym faciliteiten kunnen toevoegen! Past bij de locatie.

Good hotel with an exceptional breakfast and nice staff.

Weird room design with the sink and bathtub behind the bed. Unfortunately there were some black caterpillars in the room from time to time. I guess they come from the grapevines next to the hotel as we saw the same caterpillars on other vineyards.

L appartement très sympa l esprit cottage avec une vue superbe la piscine le personnel extrêmement sympathique

Pas de navette pour déposer les bagages dans le cottage quand on arrive à la réception il faut 20 min à pied avec les valises c’est beaucoup ! Ou alors il faut penser à retenir son uber …
