Vohenstrauss is a small and beautiful town in Bavaria, near the border of the Czech Republic. We stayed there only one night at Gasthof zur Post. The hotel is very clean, the service good and the breakfast, which was included, was delicious. The stay was very comfortable and we really liked this place. Christine spoke English and was very helpful with suggestions on the best route to go to Prague. I recommend!

I have stayed in the area a number of times (old family ties), with and without family. The staff and owners of this pension are extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms are nice and clean (it's a pension, not a 5 star hotel). Lots of light and big bathrooms. Gasthof zur Post also serves the best food in the area. Absolute must! You'll enjoy the lavish breakfasts already. Often spent evenings in the restaurant talking and drinking with locals, other guests, and Christine who runs the show. Good times!
