Zhangjiajie National Park Yuelu Homestay

Everything. Especially the host (thank you, Merry!). Place was super clean and warm, location was 5 min or so walk from the West Gate, food was tasty. I also enjoyed my dinner chats with people from different parts of the world. Everything... except maybe the wild chickens.

Said wild chickens stay in the woods opposite the lodging, and they sing (loudly) like a choir whenever it is windy, even in the middle of the night. Light sleepers should choose the rooms further inside, without the balconies.

Unglaublich! Also diese unglaubliche Frau hat uns diesen Trip sehr versüßt! Spricht Englisch, kümmert sich um Transport von der Bahn zum Homestay, kümmert sich um Tickets für den Park, geht mit dir die Routen für den Park durch. Das Abendessen war unglaublich lecker! Mit sehr viel Liebe gekocht. Jeden Abend gab es was anderes leckeres zu essen. Nur paar Minuten vom West Eingang entfernt. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt.

Mary, our host, was absolutely amazing. She was super nice and instantly made us feel at home. We will certainly miss her home cooked meals (huge portions that would fuel us for the day or embrace us after a long day in the foggy mountains). In the afternoon/evenings she would greet us with some freshly brewed tea, seasonal fruits and snacks. Additionally she very kindly made our visits to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Tianmen Mountan super convenient by planning out everything for every possible scenario and prebooking our tickets and also preparing bottled water and rain coats for us. There is a washing machine, but our host offered to do the laundry for us. The rooms were very homey and clean and had everything you needed and even more.

We will miss Mary and Zhubaobao...

L’accueil exceptionnel de notre hôtesse qui nous a préparé des itinéraires en fonction de ce qu’on voulait faire, l’emplacement juste à côté de l’entrée du parc (5 min à pied), les repas fabuleux faits maison, la possibilité de faire une lessive après 2 semaines d’itinérance, tout était parfait

Comme on l’a eu à plusieurs reprises en Chine, la douche était au milieu de la salle de bain, ce qui n’est pas très pratique car l’eau de la douche s’écoule par le sol. On s’y fait

Hotelbesitzerin Frau Zhu ist sehr nett. Fruehstueck und Abendessen sind sehr sehr lecker. Sie hat uns immer beraten und vorgeschlagen,wie wir im zhangjiajie National Park wandern. sie hilft uns jede Zeit, wenn wir im Park Probleme haben.

Notre hôte a tout fait pour faciliter notre séjour. Elle nous a aidé à planifier nos itinéraires à travers le parc, s'est occupée d'acheter nos entrées. L'hôtel, confortable et à la décoration chaleureuse, est situé à 5 minutes à pied de l'entrée ouest du parc, entrée peu fréquentée. Très attentionnée, Merry nous servait à nos retours d'excursions une très appréciée collation accompagnée d'un thé chaud parfumé , et des repas délicieux et variés chaque soir.

가장 좋았던 점은 장자제를 개인적으로 탐험할 수 있도록 코스를 짜주시고 티켓을 예약해주셔서 쉽게 여행할 수 있었습니다. 감사드립니다. 아침식사는 맛있었고 주문한 저녁식사도 최고였어요. 위치 또한 서쪽게이트에서 300m거리라 도보로 이동할 수 있었어요. 강력추천합니다.

Lo mejor de lo mejor, mary es la mejor anfitriona q he tenido en mis viajes. La comida que prepara es la mejor te sientes en casa ( o mejor) te ayuda a planear el recorrido de los parques para sacar el máximo provecho. Las instalaciones súper acogedoras y limpias. Un inglés perfecto. Y la ubicación es la mejor para la entrada del parque sin tantos turistas. La mejor estadía q puedas esperar.

Mary the host is worth every dollar. She gives you a very personalised experience mapping out the national park in a way that will suit your abilities. She gives you step by step routes to take and you can message her anytime if you need help while you’re in the park trying to find your way. She took extremely good care of us even ordering a driver at the end and picking us up at the park so that we could still make our train. The meals are extremely good - Chinese home style cuisine but taking into account each guests tastes and requirements.
