Drain smell in bathroom

Beautiful building. Perfect location by the sea. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, especially Brenda! We were made to feel very welcome The dinner and breakfast were both excellent

The location is excellent. Comfortable room and bathroom with great products and power shower. Loved the view from our room and sitting in the conservatory and garden leading to the beach and coastal path.

The bar closed early 9-930pm There often wasn’t anyone around for reception.

The ambience of the interior is brilliant old features have been retained

Brenda was very attentive on arrival, during and on check out. Excellent asset to the chain of hotels and the running of The Beach House.

Very clean bedroom and Brenda the Duty Manager was very attentive and we will be back in the future. Breakfast was good quality

Only thing that needs attention is mould between secondary glazing and windows

Location, really comfortable room: ideal if you take a dog as our room had enclosed outdoor space. Excellent breakfast. Stunning hotel a stones throw from the sea. Lovely tea tray, short stories and magazines on arrival.

The property was stunning and could be excellent bar a couple of oversights. I booked a superior room and the picture depicted a copper bath which was not in the room. Lovely shower though. I guess they have a range of rooms but it was a pity. Delay in check in and felt like we’d been forgotten unfortunately. While some staff were super friendly and helpful, others looked very unhappy and bored and that vibe carries in hospitality unfortunately. We were planning to have dinner in the restaurant but cancelled booking after reading we had the table for only one hour. Yet this hotel has so much potential. I would return as the location was lovely but would be great to see it improve as like I said it should be exceptional.
