A great place to stay when visiting the New Forest. A very popular pub with rooms and a restaurant. Had a great room( Quail), beautifully decorated and relaxing, situated away from the main pub, able to relax in the private courtyard. Full English Breakfast recommended, delicious!!!. Great coffee too! Staff and managers were really friendly, and took the time to have conversations, so nice to see genuine, lovely, friendly people, bit of a rarity these days. ! Train station a 5 mins walk away. Easy to catch train to other destinations ie: Lymington( definately a visit).etc.. Would definitely recommend staying, to Family and friends.

A real lovely setting the dog friendly rooms are a real wonderful surprise. Great food, great breakfast the whole thing was a top experience.

Prices were expensive but you were paying for the obvious extra quality that was provided.
