Some of the staff downstairs came across as a bit rough, more pub-style than hotel standard. Not talking about the bartenders, they were great. I understand it’s a bar, but as part of a hotel, I expected a slightly higher level of professionalism

Lovely well decorated room. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The food was really nice. I had the fish and chips which was really well cooked. The breakfast was amazing too! The chef was so accommodating and a great cook!

Food in restaurant was poor £60 steak was served cut into tiny pieces! They did take it off the bill though

Staff were helpful and friendly. It was clean and the rooms were nicely kept and decorated

Our room was outside next to the pub outdoor space, so had music and people talking outside until 11. No one was overly noisy or rude, but we wanted an early night and it was a distraction.
