"Super beautiful place surrounded by rice fields with friendly staff"

What a wonderful place! It was our first hotel in Indonesia and I couldn´t imagine a better place to start if you want to visit West Java. The scenery is so beautiful! We had our own room/house. You´re surrounded by rice fields (and for that the mosquitos aren´t too bad). It was really stunning! Nearby, there is a skate bowl where young local kids were skating. The restaurant is also really nice with good and cheap food. You can walk to the beach in like 5 min. And the receptionist is super nice, funny and welcoming. He laughs all the time and was really helpful. I would definitely come back!

Everything was great if you want to visit a more calm place in West Java.

"Dream location in the Rice field."

The owner is very friendly an the place is a the best location possible in the Rice fields. Like Ubud 40 years ago.

Unfortunately the AC was only a Fan. For that the building is to hot. Not enough air flow.

"Great stay in Cimaja!"

Unique, peaceful and interesting property, in the rice field but surprisingly few bugs. Room was well appointed with fridge, aircon, cooking faculties though I didn’t use those on a short stay. Skate contest at the park out the front the weekend I was there added to the atmosphere. Pak Supri helped me rent a surfboard and it’s a 5 minute walk to the point. Good coffee shop nearby. Food was very good. Hotel organised airport transfers, not cheap but comfortable and efficient. Would happily stay again.

As others noted, accom is a few hundred metres from the main reception area and you are more or less on your own so you’d want to be a more independent traveller - it suited me. No wifi but good cell signal - get an esim. Restaurant not opening until 0900 a bit of a drag but there are other options around. Shower a bit fiddly to turn completely off.
