Hot water and water pressure could be better

Es war sehr gemütlich. Sehr ruhige Lage fast am Ende des Tales. Kaum Durchgangsverkehr. Sehr aufmerksames und zuvorkommendes Personal.

Sehr leichte Bauweise. Holzhäuser. Wenn der Wind weht bzw der Sturm heult, wackelt und klappert alles.

Localização . Pequeno almoço bom. Restaurante bom qualidade preço.

Não foi feita limpeza diária no quarto e durante o pequeno-almoço andavam a limpar nomeadamente a varrer o chão a arrastar cadeiras de madeira a lavar o chão e mesas com detergente com cheiro muito intenso. Achei incrível se o pequeno-almoço tem um horário das 7 am às 9 am estarem a limpar precisamente nessa altura. Infelizmente não foi uma estadia positiva.

Huge room. Loved the extra living space. Great breakfast. Quick check in and out. Loved the area. Very clean and well cared for. Lots of birds nearby. Got to see the resplendent quetzel nearby.

Not as cold as others say in their review but a pair of slippers would have been good- I recommend you bring some!

Desayuno

Die einzelnen Lodges liegen über den Hang verteilt so dass man zwar ein bisschen laufen muss, aber überall einen herrlichen Ausblick genießen kann. In der ganzen Anlage stehen Avocado-Bäume und viele Blumen. Der hauseigene Garten ist wunderschön und sehr groß - unbedingt besichtigen. Die Küche ist gehoben, das merkt man auch am Frühstück. Es wird zwar kühl in der Nacht, es hat aber genügend Decken und die Betten sind sehr warm. Von unserer Quetzal-Tour mit Marco haben wir Dank seines Teleskops wunderschöne Fotos mitgebracht.

Nichts

Hervorragende Unterkunft in mitten der Natur. Hotel-Restaurant und Frühstück sind sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind äußerst sauber mit bequemen Betten und klasse Blick auf die Natur ausgestattet. Hauseigener Garten lädt zum spazieren ein. Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und unterstützt bei der Buchung von Touren.

Einzig negativ ist die Lage der Zimmer. Unseres war ganz oben das letzte und entsprechend mussten die Koffer hochgeschleppt werden.

Location, location, location! The road leading in is a little rough but once you are there, it is just magical. There were so many beautiful plants and flowers with tons of hummingbirds and butterflies.. The river was right across the road so you always heard it rushing in the background. We took some great hikes and of course saw the elusive quetzal. The lodge was very clean as well as our bungalows, and the staff was great. They set up tours as well as dinner reservations at other restaurants for us. A word to the wise, some of the bungalows are a pretty good vertical walk to get to(although the whole town in general is pretty vertical) so ask for bungalow one through four if you want to be on more level ground. The higher the bungalow number the more of a walk it is. We were number eight, but we enjoyed the walk. We got us ready for the challenging day.

The room was a little chilly in the morning. They did have little plug-in heaters, but it took a while to heat up the bungalow. I didn’t feel comfortable having it plugged in all night.
