Burudika Bungalows - Villas, Sauna & Bath House

The stay really exceeded our expectations - we especially liked: - The hospitality of the staff at the Bungalow. Adi (sorry if I misremembered) looked after us very well and everyone was very accomodating, relaxed and friendly. Everything was well organized (including last min taxi to leave). - The surfing lessons with Budi were really great. Budi is a great teacher and I loved hearing stories about his life in Lombok. He taught us a lot about life in Selong Belanak, Lombok and the wider region of West Nusa Tenggara. - The breakfast was amazing, Nasi Goreng was the best we had in Lombok. Omelettes were also very good. Lombok coffee was delicious. We loved having the breakfast in the patio. - The bungalow was beautiful, clean and serene. Having a ceiling fan + AC was great, as I don't like having the AC on too much. Mosquito net helped during the night. - Having read other reviews, I wasn't sure about the outdoor shower. However, for us it worked wonderfully. I really enjoyed having outdoor bathroom / showers and did not get nearly as many bugs/moths as I expected. The bathroom is very beautifully decorated.

Fantastic stay in Selong balanak area of Lombok, surrounded by greenery and within walking distance from a stunning beach and many good restaurants. All of the staff were welcoming and very friendly, they did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. A special thank you to Ardi who was very kind and helpful, treating us like his family. He even arranged everything for our fast boat to Bali after checkout. The bungalow was spacious and clean, with an outdoor bathroom and front patio where we were served breakfast. Very good food for breakfast. The pool area was very clean and there are sunbeds to catch some sun. We would highly recommend this stay and we will certainly be back.

The outdoor bathroom wasn't ideal because of exposure to insects/mosquitos/lizards, especially if needing to use when dark. There is an overhead shower above a fully curved bath tub which creates a slipping hazard. There wasn't a hair dryer in the room.

Great and luxurious place. Bungalows were clean and beautifully decorated. Gigantic bed, mosquito net and AC made me sleep very well. There was a hot/warm/cold water dispenser, free coffee and tea, fridge and some snacks (paid). Breakfast consisted of fresh juice of your choice, coffee or tea and there were 5 breakfast options to choose, such as eggs and toast, granola, pancakes. Staff were amazing and very helpful.

There was no toilet bidet sprayer in the bathroom (which I know for most western tourists is not a problem 😉). The odour from the drain every time I used shower or sink was quite unpleasant and pungent but it was disappearing after few moments. The bathtub/shower base is slightly curved which may pose a risk of slipping.

Everything! The rooms are fantastic, with the most amazing beds and bathroom! The staff are so nice, and the location is perfect! 10 out of 10!

The bungalows are a 10 out of 10. It's impossible to find any fault! The rooms were absolutely spotlessly clean and kept that way on a daily basis, which was highty appreciated. The staff is wonderful and incredibly friendly and helpful. The bed really comfortable and I loved the huge Moskito net around it. Best design ever! Even though there are calls of prayers, we never heard them inside the room. It was also great having our own sun loungers outside, beach towels and lovely smelling shower gel /shampoo and conditioner. Beach is also only 5min walk away and enough restaurants within a 5-10 min walk away.
