Thermae Boetfort Hotel

The sauna itself was very nice, but my stay was seriously ruined by a safety incident and the hotel’s poor response. At around 23:00, after using the sauna, I was walking toward the reception/exit area when a lit cigarette was thrown from above. It narrowly missed me. This was dangerous and very upsetting. I reported the incident to the hotel. The staff told me to email the hotel and wait for a response, so I did. However, I have still not received any reply. A customer service staff member also called me, but the response was very disappointing. Instead of showing proper concern or explaining what action would be taken, they mainly asked me, “What do you expect from us?” I felt dismissed and not taken seriously. The person who threw the cigarette was still able to use and enjoy the sauna the next day. When I spoke to that person, the response was basically only “sorry, and that’s it?” Because of this, I no longer felt safe using the sauna. The hotel did not offer any meaningful solution, reassurance, discount, or compensation. More importantly, they failed to make me feel safe as a guest after a dangerous incident on their premises. What started as a pleasant sauna experience became a very uncomfortable and upsetting stay. The hotel’s handling of the situation was unacceptable.

El señor que atiende el desayuno es extremadamente desagradable, hombre mayor moreno, me trató de muy mala manera, cuando le pregunté por los huevos cocidos. Gente así no debería trabajar en un hotel. Por lo demás correcto, aunque el proceso de llegada un poco difícil, y la recepción estaba muy lejos de nuestro apartamento que se encontraba en otro edificio. Lo dicho por favor hombre mayor moreno, por favor despedirlo cuanto antes porque es un mal educado.

Gordijnen konden moeilijk dicht
