Sukcheewa Residence Phuket

Love the room and the view of the the Garden and swimming pool belonging to the hotel next door. Got and upgraded room when I arrived.

Live Mosquitos everywhere when entering, dead mosquitos, holes in the towels, fridge had been unplugged and stunk of gone off meat, the pillows are like bricks and the beds rock hard, we ended up sleeping on tracksuit bottoms rolled up and a plane neck pillow. WiFi did not work, we were told it is being fixed but never seemed to work which is difficult when your English phone is struggling to work in Thailand. Sellotape is holding this place together, quite literally, see photos. We was supposed to stay for 6 nights but 1 night was too many and we were happy to pay for the 1st night and receive a refund for the rest due to the state of the place. We have been refused a refund. We booked another hotel as we couldn’t wait to leave. After explaining and showing all of the pictures, they didn’t believe us. We were told ‘you’re clearly used to 5 stars’ which is insulting to say we are basically snobs. ‘You’ve clearly never been to Thailand’, we have stayed in 5 different hotels during our trip and all were CLEAN and as advertised, but not this one, they wanted to try to replace the issues but this should already be in place, we had already apparently been given an upgrade so I dread to think what the downgrade was for the original booking. The receptionist is also permanently high off weed. She’s nice until you complain, then you are insulted and made out to be the problem. I don’t usually write reviews but this one needed to be said and would hate for others to go through the same and waste their money especially if you expect a clean hotel room and what is advertised, even if it is basic.

5th Level Studio back of building: Comfortable, quiet, secure, lift access. Can walk to restaurants, shops, beach. Night food markets is a 5 minute walk.

On a main road, but apartment was back of building so you can’t hear the road noise.

The staff were very frinedly and attended to all my needs. Valerie is an angel. I know I will stay there again whenever Im back to Phuket.

The staff were very friendly and the location was great.

Very noisy because it was next to a very busy road especially in the night we could barely sleep. There was only one glass in the window which wasn't enough to keep the noise out.

The hotel owner and staff are very kind-hearted and friendly 🫶❤️
