Cortisen am See - Adults only

Our stay at Cortisen am See was simply outstanding and deserves every one of its five stars. The setting is breathtaking. The views over the lake are spectacular and truly one of a kind. The boathouse experience alone is worth the visit and created some of the most memorable moments of our trip. We were able to completely relax, disconnect from everyday life, and reconnect with nature and the beautiful surroundings. The hotel itself is thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. Every space reflects great care, with fascinating contemporary art pieces and stylish décor that make the property feel unique and sophisticated without losing its warmth. We also enjoyed the excellent gym, which was well-equipped and highly functional. The billiard room was another highlight—having a game while enjoying a glass of whisky was a wonderful way to spend the evening. The charming center of St. Wolfgang is only a short walk away, making it easy to explore the town. Breakfast was excellent, beautifully presented, and served with great attention to detail. Most importantly, the staff made our stay truly special. Roland welcomed us warmly from the moment we arrived and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Every member of the team was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It is clear that hospitality is a core value of the hotel, and it makes a tremendous difference to the overall experience. Although the weather during our stay was rainy, it did not diminish our enjoyment in the slightest. In fact, it added a special atmosphere and made the scenery even more dramatic and memorable. We would love to return in the future, hopefully during warmer weather, to fully enjoy the lake as well. Thank you to the entire Cortisen am See team for an unforgettable stay.

A beautiful property with an excellent location. I arrived via bus from Bad Ischl (nice day visit) and it is very close to the drop off. Took the boat to St. Gilden and bus from there to Saltzburg - perfect! Easy to walk either direction around town and to transportation. Very relaxing and hotel management and staff are very welcoming. I had a wonderful room, felt like an apartment, with an excellent view of the lake and mountains. So restorative after big city visits and lots to see in this town. Fun atmosphere, great for solo travelers!

Sehr schönes Hotel in wunderbarer Lage. Das Frühstück war herausragend (alles wir an den Tisch serviert!). Etwas teuer, aber man bekommt viel geboten für sein Geld.

The layout, the vibe, the energy. It was beautiful and the staff were so friendly. the rooms were a great size and a bike rental right beside. A beautiful pool and stand up paddle boards. The gym was full equipped. The bar was incredible and the food was fantastic
